It's been a super long time since I made any update of my status on Ascension and it's a long time coming that I announce that Ascension is on hiatus.

I feel embarrassed really, not long after I announced plans for an extension and improvements to Ascension I hit a lot of roadblocks and have been struggling with them since. I sought out to improve my skills and did other things in the mean time to improve yet my issues remained and my struggle to move forward has been met with difficulty.

I thought I could overcome it eventually if I kept trying and trying, but that isn't the case and eventually came to the conclusion that putting this project on hiatus is for the best.
